Creating pebbles

December 3rd, 2008

Hello Graphic45 lovers!

I have developed a new addiction while I was playing with the gorgeous Botanicabella papers and I would like to share this little technique with you.

I created my own pebbles using the Times Nouveau Die Cut Alpha’s and the Botanicabella paper. Here’s how it works….

- select some papers and alpha’s you like

- find some (self-adhesive) pebbles (I bought them at my local warehouse)

- glue your pebble on the paper/die cut

- make sure to rub firmly, you don’t want air underneath it

- cut out the paper

- glue your pebble on your project

- I also printed out some small words, to add to the pebbles.

Once you start playing, you’re hooked! Here are some little Xmas cards I made with the Botanicabella papers and selfmade pebbles.

Have fun!

how to make a gorgeous vintage flower

December 1st, 2008

Have fun!

I used 2 flower templates. You can use these one or create some of your own.

Cut the flowers out of 2 different paper patterns.

Fold them in your hands like this:

Put some Mod Podge on the papers. I think Glossy accent or something like that will work too.

When it’s dry put on another layer. But this time you put the flowers on top of eachother first.

When it’s still wet you can bend the leafs everyway you want. When it’s dry you can decorate the flower with stickles, a brad, a button or some paint. Just use your imagination.
